About the Role

A Key Account Representative with Earthwise is responsible for growing top line sales of reusable shopping bags through new business development and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts. The role involves working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, collaborating with internal teams, and representing Earthwise Bag Co. at industry events. This is a remote position covering most of the US, with a preference for candidates near Glendale, CA or the Greater Los Angeles area, and a focus on sustainability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute large Nation/Regional strategic account plans to achieve revenue growth and customer retention goals.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business objectives and sustainability initiatives.
  • Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts and drive expansion efforts.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including product development, marketing, and supply chain, to deliver customized solutions that meet client needs.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to maximize profitability while maintaining strong client partnerships.
  • Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Represent Earthwise Bag Co. at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings to promote brand awareness and develop business relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably in the retail, packaging, or sustainability sectors.
  • Experience in a custom production/manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing large strategic accounts and driving revenue growth.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to develop and implement customer solutions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Windows/Office Suite.
  • Passion for sustainability and environmentally friendly solutions.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a manufacturing or custom production environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in account management, sales, or business development.
