LATAM FX & Rates, Analyst - New York

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assists with sales, trading, and hedging activities.
• Generates trading ideas based on research, technical analysis, and trends.
• Helps to originate, structure, and model transactions.
• Assesses market trends and provides quantitative data for clients.
• Assists in providing analysis for accounts upon request.
• Performs market and quantitative research analysis.
• Assists in structuring, pricing, and executing trades.
• Handles day-to-day transaction needs, including reconciliation and clearing services.
• Uses risk management tools to monitor trading positions and risk.
• Assists in developing new products and bringing them to market.
• Builds complex financial models utilizing Microsoft Excel.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent degree and/or work experience in Business or a related field.
• 1+ Years of relevant Sales & Trading experience in a full-time or internship setting.
• Strong interest in global financial markets.
• Highly motivated with a drive to succeed.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative skills.
• Ability to be flexible, adapt to changing priorities and prioritize deadlines.
• Advanced in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) with ability to learn new software.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and project management skills.

Nice to Have

• Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
• Modeling skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Educational background in Business or a related field.
