The Lead Associate, Digital Marketing, supports the execution of conversion rate optimization testing and analytics across digital fundraising channels, collaborating with teams to improve digital performance and campaign insights. This role is part of the Supporter Growth team within the Mass Market Fundraising department of the Marketing & Growth division, with a hybrid location in Washington DC, Fairfield, CT, or Lexington, KY.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct peer and market research, compile findings, and assist in developing strategies to improve user experience and digital performance.
  • Support identification and implementation of A/B and multivariate tests to optimize user experience and conversion rates.
  • Gather and analyze data to evaluate user journeys, making recommendations based on test outcomes and performance trends.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to apply test learnings across platforms such as donation forms and post-donation experiences.
  • Work with the Digital Marketing team to compile campaign performance dashboards and reports across paid, owned, and earned channels.
  • Develop standard reporting templates to track KPIs, identify trends, and surface opportunities for optimization.
  • Support data quality checks and assist in identifying performance discrepancies or anomalies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure reporting aligns with campaign objectives and is clear and actionable.
  • Support project tracking and coordination across digital initiatives, including tests, analytics, and campaign wrap-ups.
  • Participate in campaign planning and reporting meetings, documenting follow-ups, tasks, and decisions.
  • Work closely with the web team to manage ticketing for donation forms, landing pages, and related assets.
  • Partner with internal teams such as Paid Media, Email, and Web to ensure smooth collaboration.
  • Maintain documentation of digital projects, tests, and performance insights in shared systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus at least 3 years of relevant experience in digital marketing, analytics, or related fields.
  • Experience with web or marketing analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, GA4, Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify insights, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting or coordinating testing and optimization projects like A/B testing or UX improvements.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams and explain information clearly.
  • Basic understanding of marketing performance metrics across digital channels such as email, search, and display.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and professional proficiency in spoken and written English.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Adobe Analytics or other enterprise-level analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with nonprofit, fundraising, or mission-driven marketing environments.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio.
  • Knowledge of CRO best practices and testing tools like Google Optimize or Optimizely.
  • Understanding of privacy regulations impacting digital marketing such as GDPR and CCPA.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in digital marketing, analytics, or related fields.
