As a Lead Consumer Product Marketing Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product awareness, adoption, and engagement, while fostering user love for Pinterest.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shape the product strategy through market, competitive, and user research in collaboration with UX research, brand research, data science, and other teams.
  • Create market requirement documents (MRD) to inform product development and design alpha/beta experiments to guide product launch strategies.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including positioning, messaging, user education, and in-product marketing to drive adoption and engagement.
  • Craft strategic narratives for Pinterest's consumer product offerings aimed at consumers, partners, and investors.
  • Use data and insights to set goals, measure impact, and guide iteration across launches and ongoing growth initiatives.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment throughout the go-to-market process, including securing buy-in from the executive team.
  • Educate and inspire internal and external teams with the context, resources, and training needed to champion consumer experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 7+ years of consumer product marketing and/or product management experience at a fast-growing tech company.
  • Proven ability to craft compelling positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans that resonate with users.
  • Strong analytical mindset and comfort using data to inform decision-making and measure impact.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that carries a degree of ambiguity.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in social media or consumer internet companies.
  • Experience with product launches and go-to-market strategies at scale.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in Marketing, Business, or related fields.
  • Extensive experience in consumer product marketing or product management.

  • Salary range from $130,022 to $267,692 USD, based on factors such as location, experience, and skills.
  • Flexible work model with in-person collaboration 1-2 times per quarter, can be situated anywhere in the country.
