Lead Copywriter

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Writes across multiple creative disciplines and platforms with an emphasis in direct response for B2C and B2B
• Oversees copy and provides creative direction for all B2B work
• Manages B2B creative team in the concept development and execution of a wide range of SMB and Enterprise work
• Works with internal/external creative and marketing teams to meet marketing objectives and ensure work follows B2B brand voice guidelines
• Establishes and maintains B2B Enterprise voice and tone for all channels
• Manages concept development and brainstorming for all assigned creative projects to create multiple ideas supporting brand and product strategies
• Develops innovative, effective marketing communications across all media platforms that achieve positive business results
• Transforms facts and strategic insights into compelling ideas that maximize results across media platforms
• Manages tight timelines and multiple deliverables and requests
• Works in close partnership with marketing teams, creative director, and internal/external creative teams
• Assists designers and production in preparing layouts that deliver on the conceived concept

Requirements

• 10+ years copywriting experience in all media, with a direct marketing background being a big plus
• Experience managing creative development for complete campaigns from start to finish
• Good graphic design sense
• Excellent grammar and proofing skills
• Writing experience in all media including direct mail, print, TV, radio, outdoor, web, and interactive
• Experience with social media content
• Understanding of marketing and advertising campaign development and social platforms
• Ability to understand complex information and communicate it effectively to consumers
• Demonstrated ability to analyze problems, probe facts, and consider multiple perspectives
• Experience managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Experience with managing creative development for complete campaigns from start to finish
