About the Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Marketing Consultant to join the balance transfer marketing team in Consumer Lending Marketing. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for the execution of balance transfer marketing to existing credit card customers. This includes managing the overall execution plan, developing creatives and business requirements, executing controls to ensure flawless campaign implementation, and working with channel partners to improve channel performance and to drive customer response. Lead and participate in complex initiatives including those that are cross-functional with broad impact, and act as key participation in large-scale planning for the marketing area. Act as key participant in complex marketing analysis, customer retention, customer profile, sales, and profitability for marketing. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term business, operational, or technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead broader work teams to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives related to marketing. Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals across enterprise, lines of business, vendor relationships, and cross-functional resources. May lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the execution plan for balance transfer marketing campaigns targeting existing credit card customers.
  • Develop creative assets and business requirements for marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Digital Platforms (e.g., Mobile or Social Media), demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Experience in targeted marketing and/or direct mail.
  • Experience with Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Target, and JIRA.
  • Experience with credit card and/or balance transfer marketing.
  • Experience with marketing platforms and tools such as Aprimo and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of risk management framework and compliance.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop multi-channel campaigns.
  • Ability to track project dependencies and manage changing priorities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging senior leaders.
  • Ability to lead without authority and influence others to improve channel effectiveness.
  • Strong attention to detail and passion for clean, modern design.
  • Experience working in regulated industries such as financial, healthcare, or insurance.
