About the Role

This role involves designing, developing, and managing activities for specific business products or services from conception through lifecycle management, including complex products or product lines. The position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week in the posted location, with no relocation offered. The role is focused on driving development, execution, and lifecycle management of products/services to meet market needs and maximize customer value, with responsibility for business case and P&L management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire product lifecycle from initial concept through development, launch, and end-of-life, ensuring seamless transitions and ongoing performance.
  • Manage budgets, acquire estimates, and handle funding requests through the capital process.
  • Coordinate with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, sales support, and marketing teams as products move to production and distribution.
  • Translate and document customer and technical requirements into final product designs, prepare and present business cases, and provide detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Perform in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, revenue potential, customer segments, and opportunities for new products or features.
  • Create and maintain detailed product roadmaps, service guides, documentation, results reports, and project plans aligned with market needs and business objectives.
  • Partner with business, technology, UX teams, and third-party partners to design or modify products, ensuring high-quality user experience and alignment with budget and schedule.
  • Work with teams such as Global Connectivity Management, Technology Development, Contracting, Legal, Product Marketing, and Pricing to develop pricing strategies.
  • Negotiate with vendors to improve product cost structure, feature functionality, and support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) desired.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Certification is required in some areas.
  • Experience in product lifecycle management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with product development in telecommunications or technology sectors.
  • Knowledge of pricing strategies and vendor negotiations.
  • Experience with lifecycle management of complex products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
