Leader Product Marketing - Compute HW Portfolio

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Create compelling messaging, positioning, and marketing content to support the data center market offer.
• Drive market narrative for the compute portfolio within Secure AI Factory, AI Pods, and DC modernization sales motions.
• Lead a team of product marketers managing strategic bets from core to edge.
• Drive GTM efforts with strategic silicon vendors to maximize market momentum and ROI.
• Develop customer-facing presentations reflecting customer needs and use cases.
• Lead major product launch efforts and category creation initiatives.
• Engage with analysts to secure leader rankings in Gartner MQ and other reports.
• Represent Cisco compute portfolio at major events with SME content for keynotes, demos, and messaging.
• Collaborate with hardware product teams on roadmap discussions and GTM planning.
• Coordinate with the integrated marketing team on campaigns, webinars, blogs, and thought leadership content.
• Execute a video-first storytelling approach highlighting capabilities, features, and business value.
• Present to internal and external audiences at conferences, events, and analyst engagements.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Product Marketing/Management roles, with expertise in data center products, compute, generative AI, large language models, hyperconverged and converged infrastructure, virtualization, Kubernetes, containerization, configuration, and automation tools.
• Experience leading product marketing in top-tier infrastructure or data center solutions technology companies.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science; MBA preferred.
• Expertise in developing and executing demand generation, sales enablement, content marketing, and digital marketing strategies.

Nice to Have

• Expertise in data center hardware products including compute, networking, and storage.
• Deep understanding of the AI landscape and modern data center architectures such as generative AI, large language models, hyperconverged and converged infrastructure, virtualization, Kubernetes, containerization, and automation tools.
• Deep audience knowledge of ecosystems, markets, industries, buyers, and competition.
• Ability to execute projects with minimal direction, exercising sound judgment and collaborating across a highly matrixed organization.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science.
• MBA (preferred).
• 10+ years of relevant product marketing or management experience.
