Life Science Director - Strategic Product Management

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop practice strategy by defining the practice area and outcomes, developing insights on market and competitor trends, and creating a vision and comprehensive strategy for the LS PnP with an execution roadmap.
• Own offering management by identifying market gaps, developing offering strategies and roadmaps aligned with growth segments, designing scalable offerings, managing their lifecycle, and evangelizing offerings internally and externally.
• Manage sales trends by translating business problems into product solutions, working with sales leads, assisting in qualifying prospects, and executing market segment penetration strategies.
• Credentialize deals by directing the end-to-end deal pursuit process, engaging clients through workshops, demos, and PoCs, supporting pre-sales efforts, and engaging directly with priority clients.
• Engage in thought leadership by positioning product expertise with external analysts, defining portfolio strategy, publishing, educating the market, and driving commercial conversations.
• Own alliance relationships by establishing and developing strategic alliances and partnerships with vendors to enhance business outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Advertising or Statistics; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 15+ years in a senior leadership role with experience in complex solutioning and broad life-sciences domain experience.
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in clinical trial life-cycle and pharma sponsor and site engagement.
• Deep technical expertise in SaaS collaboration platforms and ability to create proof of concepts and commercialized solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Understanding of product management methodology, user-centric design, and strategic roadmap development.
• Deep industry knowledge of Life Sciences and Clinical Trials ecosystem.
• Ability to analyze sales opportunities, qualify leads, and manage relationships with executive leadership.

• Experience in managing large-scale product portfolios and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant fields; MBA preferred.
• 15+ years of senior leadership and solutioning experience in life sciences.
