LO Coatings Quality Analyst, (Level 2)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Providing timely, responsive, and exceptional Quality Inspection capabilities to support LO activities throughout the entire build process spanning multiple Production Directorates, primarily in CFF, LFF and AFF.
• Build and maintain professional working relationships with teams across the F-35 program including Production, DCMA, Program Management, Engineering & Technology, Material/Process/Product Engineering, Flight Sciences, and Quality & Mission Success (QMS).
• Create, execute, and track the Product Build Surveillance plan for compliance to the F-35 Quality Management Plan.
• Perform containment activities to assist Quality Engineering with Root Cause/Corrective Action.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree.
• Must be a US Citizen; this position requires special access at a facility that requires it.
• Experience with Low Observable Coatings.
• Knowledge of Quality Systems and Inspection Processes.
• Experience validating accuracy and completeness of technical documentation and processes.
• Familiar with Aerospace engineering specifications and drawings.
• Familiar with using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.
• Familiar with Final Acceptance inspections for Final Finishes/Coatings applications.
• Prior experience as an analyst or proven experience analyzing data.
• Working knowledge of PDM, JDL, QADS, VAS, ALIS, JTD and SFM systems.

Nice to Have

• F-35 production operations experience.
• Experience with Product-Quality methods either in quality or manufacturing roles.
• Experience with Low Observable (LO) Finishes/Coating Technology and/or processes.
• Ability to effectively navigate complex product and process-related requirements to validate nonconformance's and develop corrective actions in coordination with DCMA and Production colleagues.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Systems, Shop Floor Manager (SFM) or similar manufacturing management systems, Product Data Management (PDM) or similar engineering database, Quality Assurance Documentation System (QADS) or similar system.
• Demonstrated professional interpersonal, collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience conducting/coordinating process/product evaluations and assessments.

Qualifications

• Experience level: Experienced Professional.
• Security Clearance: Must be a US Citizen with a Secret clearance.
