The role involves building stellar relationships with customers, offering T-Mobile's product and service line, and meeting/exceeding sales quotas by acquiring accounts within an assigned geographic territory. It is a true hunter role focused on prospecting, cold-calling, networking, and solution-based selling to underserved markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently generate leads and referrals through prospecting, cold calling and networking.
  • Identify customer needs and use solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services.
  • Devise creative and effective sales approaches, solutions and proposals.
  • Negotiate and close deals.
  • Partner proactively with Retail Stores in assigned territory to drive Business Sales results through education on Business Sales products and services and closing on Business Sales leads.
  • Fully use all sales force automation, funnel management and prospecting tools.
  • Lead sales funnel and generate reporting on sales activities and forecasting.
  • Continuously update knowledge of products, services, industry trends and the competitive marketplace.
  • Participate in training opportunities on products and services and attend sales meetings.
  • Perform other duties/projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED (Required).
  • 4-7 years outside sales experience with proven sales achievements in a commissioned environment.
  • Less than 2 years experience in solutions/applications selling.
  • Less than 2 years telecommunications/technical sales experience.
  • Task management skills and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
  • Proven experience delivering superior customer service and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Effective negotiating and closing skills.
  • Experience preparing, delivering, and following-up on product/service proposals and pricing quotations.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Travel required.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience with sales force automation and funnel management tools.
