Manager - Adobe Experience Cloud

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of technical support staff responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and monitoring software and tools.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, architects, UX strategists, and web teams to deliver data-driven client experiences.
• Maintain working knowledge of Adobe Experience Cloud components including AEM, Launch, WebSDK, and Target to meet marketing and customer experience needs.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and develop continuous improvements to support marketing and customer experience teams.
• Hire, evaluate, and manage a team of high-performing engineers, defining skill requirements and development plans.
• Set performance standards, conduct reviews, and make compensation decisions in accordance with HR policies.
• Understand and ensure compliance with IT policies, Data Governance, Privacy, Legal, and Security policies.
• Lead, coordinate, and participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional IT experience.
• Experience in delivering software releases related to AEM in headful and headless deployments, working with business clients to determine scope and environmental requirements.
• 3+ years working experience with AEM in headful and headless deployments.
• 2+ years working knowledge of Adobe Launch and Target.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with web development and architecture, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Marketing acumen and understanding of how to leverage MarTech platforms for personalized web experiences.
• Ability to translate marketing use cases and business requirements into technical specifications and scalable solutions.
• Strong process knowledge and orientation to deliver business outcomes.
• 5+ years utilizing Agile development practices such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
• Experience with modern software development practices including DevOps, test automation, test-driven development, and Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent training and experience.

Nice to Have

• Strong leadership skills with experience managing technical teams and driving strategic initiatives.
• Experience with SEO and site optimization tools, including Google Core Web Vitals.
• Mobile development experience.
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS, VPC, Security Groups, S3, and EFS.
• Experience with Content Delivery Networks like Akamai, Cloudflare, CloudFront.
• Experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), and Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA).
• Familiarity with tag managers such as Adobe Launch, Tealium, Segment, Google, Ensighten.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React, Vue, Bootstrap, and Node.js.
• Experience in the financial services industry.
