About the Role

Are you ready to make your mark on one of America's most iconic brands? This role will be crucial in shaping the insights, creative, process, and reporting that take the brand to the next level. You'll play a key role in defining how Hertz shows up in the world - helping us shape a bold, modern vision that connects with audiences in exciting new ways.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the end-to-end development and execution of Hertz brand and product campaigns.
  • Define marketing strategy across all channels including TV, digital, social, OOH, and print.
  • Lead business areas, prioritize projects, and create clear roadmaps to deliver work on time and on budget.
  • Support external agencies by ensuring reviews are completed on time and timelines are on track.
  • Brief agencies on new projects by summarizing strategies, goals, KPIs, and creative direction.
  • Develop best-in-class creative and ensure attention to detail in all marketing materials.
  • Coordinate campaign content across all media, gathering input from stakeholders and synthesizing into a plan.
  • Review and proof marketing materials for errors and alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Track project goals from kickoff to final reporting and share key learnings for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure creative work reaches the right audience at the right time across channels.
  • Own weekly and monthly updates to keep Hertz employees informed and inspired.
  • Manage strategy and content for all Hertz social media channels to keep the brand relevant and top of mind.
  • Develop and deliver marketing campaigns that generate buzz and achieve business outcomes.
  • Identify and champion new opportunities for brand and business impact.
  • Establish industry and brand analytics with a focus on results and ROI.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competition, and current marketing practices.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, advertising, business management, or relevant field; Master's preferred.
  • 5-10 years of marketing experience with a proven track record in brand management and successful campaigns.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations.
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable communicating across all organizational levels.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Experience with project management tools such as Adobe Workfront, Monday, or similar software.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience in marketing roadmap, briefing, and calendar management.
  • Large-scale project management experience across broad topics and scope.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
  • Results-driven with decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to drive process and organizational change.
  • Motivational leadership skills and a positive attitude in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to work independently with a goal-oriented mindset.
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to see the big picture.
