About the Role

The Manager, Digital Shelf Optimization is an influential role within the internal U.S. Consumer Experience (CX) Team for Kenvue Consumer Health brands. This position involves leading digital shelf content strategies, overseeing retailer syndication, and driving growth through optimized digital content to enhance consumer engagement and retailer performance. The role supports the company's mission of delivering iconic brands rooted in science and care, with a focus on innovation and consumer insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 1 to 3 direct reports to deliver accelerated growth through execution of the end-to-end digital shelf consumer journey.
  • Help direct reports manage timelines to meet or exceed retailer launch readiness timelines.
  • Own end-to-end content creation process for Digital Shelf content optimizations, including updating carousel images, conducting SEO refreshes, and creating mobile-optimized images.
  • Create clear and detailed content briefs for agency partners to execute digital shelf roadmaps.
  • Oversee retailer syndication process for new product launches and restages to ensure timely product and asset launches.
  • Prioritize competing needs across brand and retailer asks and help team members prioritize projects.
  • Translate brand roadmap into digital shelf content strategies for coordinated campaigns and content experiences.
  • Conduct retailer PDP content audits to identify optimization opportunities and develop a roadmap for improvements.
  • Focus on increasing retailer content scores to improve organic rankings and algorithm performance.
  • Measure impact of content optimizations through A/B testing, AI tools, and performance metrics such as search share, conversion rate, and organic traffic.
  • Continuously assess digital performance and adjust content strategies to meet success metrics.
  • Manage team meetings and share-outs with brand and retailer partners to communicate content impact on KPIs.
  • Develop and implement storytelling strategies to ensure content and narratives are synchronized for engaging consumer experiences.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and external market landscape to inform content development.
  • Partner with Brand, Market Research, and Sales teams to incorporate consumer insights and competitive strategies into content planning.
  • Lead initiatives on new workflows, technology, and partnerships to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Build positive relationships with internal partners and creative agencies to promote a digital-first approach.
  • Champion Agile methodologies to focus on outcomes and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 5 years of digital content creation experience (agency or client).
  • Self-starter with interpersonal, leadership, and teambuilding skills to collaborate across teams and agencies.
  • Experience with Salsify, copy approval systems, and measurement tools.
  • Understanding of retailer syndication processes and content flow from content management systems to retailer PDPs.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize, delegate, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze data from multiple sources to derive insights and influence high-impact solutions.
  • Proficiency with learning tools such as A/B testing and experimentation to support decision-making.
  • Deep understanding of the integrated marketing experience and digital's role in the marketing mix.
  • Effective team leadership skills and willingness to work hands-on with creative agencies.
  • Exceptional writing, communication, presentation, and influence skills.
