Job Description

About the Role

This position manages the digital and social products related to the Marketing and Communications department, Demand Marketing for PGA TOUR Events. The role involves guiding overarching deliverables, development, communication, and execution for PGA TOUR Events, as well as serving as the lead social strategist for the events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage development of content for select PGA TOUR events that engages fans and encourages attendance.
  • Lead the onboarding of new owned and operated PGA TOUR events.
  • Liaise with PGA TOUR Events stakeholders to deliver against promotional needs and goals within partner contracts.
  • Responsible for management of social media advertising for PGA TOUR Events to drive revenue.
  • Use digital channels to assist event public relations and earned media efforts.
  • Collaborate with Creative Studio to develop digital creative that aligns with the overall PGA TOUR Brand and product brand.
  • Collaborate with other departments within Marketing & Communications to align with top-line follower growth, brand and revenue goals.
  • Work with the PGA TOUR Digital products team to maintain and elevate digital channels and user experience.
  • Work collaboratively with Demand Marketing team to pursue new tasks and challenges related to overall departmental goals and objectives.
  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite - Strong skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. (After Effects knowledge is a plus).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Perform special projects or other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Marketing, Journalism, Media or Communications preferred.
  • 5 years' experience leading social and digital communications and dynamic content creation.
  • Experience managing a team or other professional social media account with an understanding of authentic brand participation.
  • Social advertising experience, sponsored content development, and understanding of the Facebook Business tool.
  • Strong understanding of the current social landscape, including creating content for Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
  • Ability to analyze and utilize data to customize social strategy.
  • Experience within the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
  • Experience with managing websites and content management software.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Adobe After Effects is a plus.
