Manager Marketing

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic marketing plans and build community partnerships.
• Manage day-to-day consumer volume-driving activities and advertising strategies to grow the hospital's brand, patient loyalty, and service line volumes.
• Create consumer volume-driving tactics and brand messaging through various communication channels such as print, direct mail, outdoor, radio, digital media, collateral, and special events.
• Coordinate advertising strategies and tactics to differentiate the hospital, build market preference, and grow market share.
• Oversee messaging, design, creative execution, and production of all marketing communication materials, ensuring proper approvals.
• Collaborate with graphic designers, photographers, videographers, digital media teams, media relations, community relations, service line teams, physicians, nurses, and internal communications.
• Work closely with business development representatives and the director to meet volume and program goals and escalate issues affecting marketability.
• Develop community outreach programs including social and community awareness initiatives that promote the hospital's brand, service lines, and growth strategies.
• Evaluate, plan, organize, and manage hospital-based internal and external community health, wellness, seminar/lecture, speaker bureau, and outreach programs.
• Manage the hospital’s day-to-day community contact to generate awareness of AdventHealth's brand and services.

Requirements

• Seven or more years of experience in strategic and integrated marketing communications, including strategic planning, advertising, promotional plans, agency relationships, and community relations.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, Advertising, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Proven track record in strategic marketing and planning.
• Experience working with creative development processes and community relations.
• Previous healthcare marketing experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the competitive landscape in the Ocala/Marion County market.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of experience in marketing communications.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
