About the Role

The Business Partner plays a critical role in aligning marketing and communications strategies with business objectives at Sanford Health. This position leads strategic initiatives, supports stakeholder relationships, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful marketing and communications solutions. The role requires strong communication and leadership skills, and involves developing and managing integrated marketing plans, overseeing campaign execution, monitoring performance, supporting internal communications, and participating in major marketing and sales programs within a healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic conversations with internal stakeholders to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with broader organizational objectives.
  • Develop and manage integrated marketing plans, oversee campaign execution, and monitor performance.
  • Support budget planning and reporting, using data analysis to guide decision-making and identify opportunities.
  • Lead internal communications across the region to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with enterprise priorities.
  • Partner with regional leadership to develop and execute communication plans that support organizational initiatives and employee engagement.
  • Manage internal content such as intranet updates and newsletters, and support leadership messaging for meetings and recognition efforts.
  • Contribute to crisis communication planning in collaboration with media relations and leadership.
  • Participate in implementing major marketing and sales programs and initiatives.
  • Manage marketing and sales for multiple products and product groups.
  • Develop strategies to drive the business while maintaining alignment with parent branding and other enterprise branding and sales strategies.
  • Manage the content, messaging, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, sales tool kits, and programs.
  • Manage costs within a predetermined budget and participate in cross-functional planning and collaboration.
  • Provide clear direction and vision to the team and mentor junior team members.
  • Monitor industry trends that impact accounts and identify potential opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business or a related field.
  • Minimum of four years of related experience.
  • Strong writing and communications skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to lead strategic initiatives and collaborate across teams.
