About the Role

The Manager, Media oversees all aspects of traditional and digital investments for national and regional advertising and is a key influencer on corporate omni-channel strategy. Responsible for working with key stakeholders and business/initiative leaders across the enterprise to understand specific customer, business and communication goals as well as oversee the creation and execution of omni-channel plans within the context of the overall marketing mix. Analyzes industry trends, channel results and business environment to improve strategies and plan recommendations. Manages omni-channel budget and supports channel measurement, results reporting and insights. Helps direct agency planning, buying and activation for areas of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and steward omni-channel investments within the budget (10%).
  • Partner with omni-channel partners, stakeholders, and business/initiative leaders to develop channel recommendations supporting customer, business, and marketing goals (15%).
  • Help direct media agency and supervise direct reports on creation and execution of department-level omni-channel plans (20%).
  • Support analysis of channel performance and audience behavior reporting, incorporating learnings into current and future planning (10%).
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key omni-channel stakeholders and business/initiative leaders (25%).
  • Test and learn new and emerging omni-channel trends and opportunities to support frictionless customer experiences, drive business, and create competitive advantage (20%).

Requirements

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of marketing, finance, advertising, merchandising, and operations.
  • Ability to build effective partnerships throughout the organization.
  • Experience supporting or mentoring team members and building cross-functional relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to conceptualize and build integrated omni-channel plans.

Nice to Have

  • Omni-channel agency planning and buying experience.
  • Previous client-side omni-channel planning experience.
  • Previous leadership, mentoring, and coaching experience.
  • Retail/multi-outlet advertising experience.
  • Master's Degree.
  • Strong leadership abilities and proven track record of building cross-functional work relationships.
  • Highly organized with ability to combine strategic direction with tactical execution.
  • Strong presentation skills with ability to gain alignment on recommendations.
  • Partnering with omni-channel strategy leads and stakeholders to set strategic, long-term planning.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent in a related field.
