Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to SDRs and junior closers, helping them develop their skills, achieve targets, and grow professionally.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, set individual and team goals, and implement strategies to enhance team productivity and effectiveness.
  • Recruit, train, and onboard new sales team members within the SDR, Voso, and SMB AE roles.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, tactics, and processes to generate leads, qualify prospects, and close deals effectively.
  • Collaborate with senior sales leadership to align team objectives with overall sales goals and organizational priorities.
  • Design and deliver training programs to onboard new hires and improve the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to SDRs and junior closers to refine their pitch, overcome objections, and improve sales techniques.
  • Monitor team performance against KPIs such as call volume, lead conversion rates, and revenue targets.
  • Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring proper management and optimization to maximize conversion rates and revenue.
  • Implement lead management practices for timely follow-up and qualification of leads.
  • Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align sales efforts with organizational objectives.
  • Generate reports and analytics to track team performance, identify trends, and provide insights to senior management.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize sales processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the CRM system, maintaining clean records of customer interactions, leads, and opportunities.
  • Foster a positive team culture that encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Help evaluate the tech stack and programs to drive performance.
  • Lead by example with a strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment to team goals.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in leadership roles, with at least 1 year as an SDR manager.
  • 3+ years in the software, SaaS, or telephony industry preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience.
  • Understanding of sales processes, lead generation techniques, and marketing strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide a sales development team.
  • Ability to recruit, train, and develop talent within a high-performance sales environment.
  • Strategic thinking and planning skills to develop effective sales development strategies.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, identify growth opportunities, and implement actionable plans.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and other departments.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Problem-solving abilities to address challenges in lead generation and qualification.
  • Deep understanding of target markets, customer needs, and buying behaviors.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and KPIs.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in leadership roles, including at least 1 year managing SDR teams
  • Relevant work experience or Bachelor's Degree
