About the Role

This position can be based out of our offices in Jacksonville, FL or Houston, TX. Responsible for the day-to-day management of resources, process development, and operations across various Product (Item) Asset Classes including Images, Features & Benefits Statements, Attributes/Taxonomy, and other digital assets. The role involves consulting with and executing strategic direction set by the MDM Business Lead of Item, leading projects related to digital content acquisition and management, and ensuring business needs are met through stakeholder engagement. The position also includes implementing risk mitigation and resolving issues escalated from asset management teams.

Key Responsibilities

Provide guidance and oversight to Image Stewards, Features & Benefits, and Attribute/Taxonomy Asset Managers to ensure strategic objectives are achieved.
Ensure business goals are met while managing budgets and risks appropriately.
Meet with business leaders to determine content needs based on priorities.
Lead the overall training, communication, and governance processes, including creating, maintaining, and implementing standards, guidelines, and training for content systems.
Align and engage with MDM Item Business Lead and Business Technology teams to manage system design and functionality.
Seek continuous improvement in content management processes across all asset types.
Oversee maintenance and upgrades of impacted systems with Business Technology.
Execute communication strategies with Suppliers to meet content acquisition needs and provide direction to Asset Managers.
Manage escalation processes for non-compliant Suppliers to Merchandising.

Requirements

High School graduate (minimum).
Five or more years of experience leading teams in Foodservice Manufacturing, Foodservice Distribution, CPG Marketing, Wholesale or Retail Distribution, Category Management, Supply Chain Management, or Digital Asset Management.
Ability and experience leading cross-functional teams.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
Good executive-level presence and interpersonal skills.
Outstanding interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
Business process orientation including design and implementation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
Deep experience with Digital Asset Management platforms such as Open Text Media Manager, Informatica Media Manager, Adobe, or others.
Conceptual understanding of information flows between Master Data Management, Digital Asset Management, e-Commerce, and back-end systems.
