About the Role

The Manager, Specialty Account at TerSera Therapeutics LLC is responsible for representing the company's products in hospital accounts and Oncology clinics. The role involves effectively presenting clinical information to healthcare professionals, supporting account implementation within their geography, and maintaining a strong understanding of account and clinic strategies. The position requires developing territory plans, navigating multi-stakeholder clinical environments, and ensuring compliance with industry and company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a high level of product and disease area knowledge, demonstrating ability to interpret and share clinical data with customers in a professional manner.
  • Promote company products within approved labeling in a comprehensive, fair, and ethical manner consistent with industry and regulatory guidelines.
  • Develop a comprehensive and effective territory plan aimed at achieving and exceeding sales goals, including resource allocation and time investment planning.
  • Navigate multi-stakeholder clinical customers efficiently and effectively.
  • Gain access to key prescribers (physicians, NPs, PAs) and generate clinical interest.
  • Support local formulary implementation and ensure product availability within commercial policies.
  • Identify potential barriers to account penetration and develop strategies to overcome them.
  • Communicate territory activity accurately and timely to management.
  • Adhere to company compliance policies and complete all required training and administrative duties.
  • Maximize the use of approved resources to achieve regional and account-level goals.
  • Ensure goals and budgets are met and maintain accurate T&E utilization.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and a positive, professional demeanor toward customers and coworkers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated self-starter with high self-motivation and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Proven successful track record of high performance.
  • Confidence working in complex and ambiguous environments.
  • Strong verbal, interpersonal, and listening skills.
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and collaborate across multiple sales territories.
  • Strong strategic planning, computer, and analytical skills.
  • Effective organizational and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% of work time as needed.
  • Residence within 1 hour drive of a commercial airport.
  • Valid driver's license issued in one of the fifty states with no motor vehicle violations.
  • Knowledge of internal controls and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Business or Science discipline preferred.
  • 5-10 years of sales or account management experience within the related field.
  • Experience working with institutions and integrated delivery networks.
  • Understanding of payer and formulary processes and ability to work within both.

Nice to Have

  • MBA or graduate business/healthcare-related degree.
  • Experience managing complex reimbursement issues.
  • Organizational awareness.
  • Ability to influence without authority in a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business or Science.
  • MBA preferred.
  • 5-10 years of relevant sales or account management experience.
