About the Role

The Manager of Web/Digital Marketing Technologies is a leader responsible for driving the strategy and operational oversight of all digital marketing technologies, most specifically the website and email marketing platforms, in support of Foley & Lardner LLP. This highly collaborative role supports the broader Business Development and Marketing team by leveraging digital technology to differentiate the firm, deliver key information to clients, and enable strategic decision making, providing a competitive advantage. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as manager of Foley's online website presence from a technology perspective, managing vendors and technology behind the public-facing websites, primarily using Wordpress and other technologies.
  • Work closely with content teams and others throughout the firm to create and regularly update relevant digital KPIs, ensuring content stays fresh and meets SEO and visitor engagement goals.
  • Manage functionality, data, reporting, and enhancements to the firm's email marketing system.
  • Oversee cross-platform data integration (e.g., email, events, CRM) to support firm goals and strengthen client and prospect relationships.
  • Stay informed on industry and technology trends, and help identify future initiatives through updates to the Marketing Technology roadmaps.
  • Use web, email, and analytics tools to establish, monitor, and report on key metrics measuring the effectiveness of the firm's web properties and marketing initiatives.
  • Understand marketing technology platforms and assist with maintenance, enhancements, and user support.
  • Oversee efforts to improve search engine optimization (SEO), including creating, executing, and reporting on strategic data and results across platforms and emerging AI search tools.
  • Collaborate with the BD&M department, I.T., and others to ensure proper data integration across tools such as Passle, Dynamics CRM, email marketing, Wordpress, and others.
  • Manage two direct reports in support of the above responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years' experience with marketing technologies geared toward generating revenue.
  • Demonstrated experience developing process and business strategy with other leaders to maximize the value of technologies and systems.
  • Proven ability to inspire others toward common goals around the use of technology to drive revenue.
  • Experience managing technology projects, including full lifecycle from problem identification to post go-live review.
  • Experience establishing metrics and KPIs to measure revenue impact and ROI of technology.
