About the Role

Our team supports brand marketing globally, architecting innovative strategies and leading high-impact activations across our paid digital channels. Our strategic vision is built on a foundation of data-driven testing, allowing us to refine our marketing portfolio for both long-term brand building and immediate acquisition goals. We are looking for an individual who can translate high-level strategy into flawless execution—someone with a sharp analytical mind, a forward-thinking outlook, and the project management skills to lead complex initiatives. This role involves managing Uber's global media technology strategy, designing data and AI-driven media strategies, and partnering with key ad technology vendors and internal teams to optimize targeting and campaign performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help lead the media technology and data strategy for Uber Brand marketing globally
  • Evaluate and execute the effective use of Marketing AI technologies
  • Manage our external media agency technology team to deliver best-in-class media targeting, optimization and reporting
  • Ensure all of our media and marketing targeting approaches are fully privacy-compliant
  • Develop deep ad technology partnerships to ensure Uber has access to best-in-class targeting and media reporting capabilities
  • Partner with regional marketing teams to deliver meaningful impact in local campaigns through advanced targeting and personalization at scale
  • Constantly test new targeting techniques and media technology features
  • Collaborate closely with our in-house Performance Marketing team to ensure brand media strategies take a consumer-first approach
  • Act as a trusted partner and in-house subject matter expert on data, targeting and AI to the broader organization, providing thought leadership and a clear vision for media technology
  • Partner with Uber's in-house Data Science team to create a robust media technology testing roadmap

Requirements

  • Experience in managing media technology strategy and data-driven marketing initiatives
  • Knowledge of Marketing AI technologies and ad technology partnerships
  • Ability to manage external agency teams and internal stakeholders
  • Understanding of privacy compliance in media targeting
  • Strong collaboration skills with regional marketing and data science teams
  • Analytical mindset with project management skills
  • Experience in testing and implementing new media technology features

Nice to Have

  • Experience with predictive analytics, generative AI, and autonomous agents
  • Familiarity with media reporting and optimization tools
  • Previous experience working with ad technology vendors and media agencies
