About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze market trends and data to identify growth opportunities within the existing portfolio and with new lines of business.
• Develop and implement growth strategies for the business, identifying new spend opportunities and driving spend on card portfolios.
• Execute strategies for new business opportunities within an existing portfolio of accounts, prioritizing efforts across the portfolio.
• Monitor portfolio of early-tenure customers, high-potential customers, and/or high-spending customers, marketing to and engaging customers by linking their business priorities to American Express's value proposition.
• Drive purchase decisions, monitor, and ensure spend is captured.
• Partner with internal business partners, including sales support resources, to optimize the client and customer experience and drive growth on new and existing portfolios.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Management of Technology, or a related field.
• 1 year of experience with data mining and data analysis.
• Experience performing financial data analysis to gain organizational insights and identify cost reductions.
• Experience working with partners and cross-functional and geographically diverse teams.
• Experience performing linear regression modeling and time series analysis using statistical techniques and tools.
• Proficiency using MS Excel to structure data and generate models and reports.
• Experience performing data analysis and forecasting using SQL and Tableau.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field
• 1 year of experience with data mining and data analysis
