Marine Account Executive

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Create and grow sales by meeting with key decision makers and managing key accounts.
• Build and sustain strong long-term client relationships.
• Perform limited administrative functions critical to the sales function.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment, be self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proven track record.
• A 'team player' attitude is expected.
• Proven sales experience in a B2B environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships.
• 3+ years of maritime and/or government related sales experience.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and smart phone/laptop computer.
• Up to 25-50% travel expectation.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with maritime terminology.
• Basic understanding of the shipbuilding and ship repair industry.
• Proficiency using technology, including a smartphone, tablet, CRM software, and Office 365.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maritime and/or government related sales experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and smart phone/laptop computer.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
