The Marketing Administrator - Aerospace Aftermarket Repair Station supports major marketing and proposal efforts, coordinates customer requests, and maintains customer relationships within a collaborative, continuous improvement-focused culture at Exotic Metals Forming Division, contributing to aerospace solutions and customer support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyzes customers' requests to determine the nature of the request, the best response format, and the internal resources needed.
  • Coordinates development and compilation of information and correspondence from functional departments to respond effectively to customer requests.
  • Researches and analyzes historical data to support responses and may interpret technical data to resolve problems involving moderately complex issues.
  • Interfaces with customer representatives during fact-finding to gather or provide information on pricing and develop pricing justification.
  • Coordinates efforts of the proposal response team, assigns tasks, monitors progress, and ensures on-schedule performance.
  • Provides contract information by researching data, answering questions, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring compliance.
  • May develop and conduct product presentations for seminars, trade shows, and customer facilities.
  • Maintains knowledge of division, group, and corporate philosophies, and critical customer issues.
  • Collects, analyzes, and maintains data for marketing reports, analyses, and proposals, including customer programs and organizational structures.
  • Ensures adherence to federal, state, and aerospace industry regulations and shares specialized knowledge with others.

Requirements

  • Experience in aftermarket/repair station environment is required.
  • Bachelor's degree (BA) in Business Administration or related field.
  • Typically two or more years of responsible marketing or proposal management experience.
  • Knowledge of principles, industry practices, regulations, and policies related to proposal response and management.
  • Ability to interpret policies, recommend procedural changes, and respond to inquiries from customers and regulatory agencies.
  • Proficiency with business software applications such as databases and spreadsheets.
  • Strong analytical skills to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Effective written communication skills to produce proposals conforming to prescribed styles and formats.
  • Physical ability to sit, operate a computer, talk or hear regularly, and stand or walk occasionally.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to aerospace proposals.
  • Experience with continuous improvement principles and techniques.
  • Ability to work on a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.

Qualifications

  • Experience in aftermarket or repair station environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Two or more years of related marketing or proposal management experience.
