About the Role

The Marketing & Communications Specialist I supports day-to-day execution of digital, social media, and content marketing efforts. This role assists with drafting posts, monitoring engagement, and maintaining marketing assets while helping to organize email campaigns, analytics, and calendars. The Specialist collaborates with field teams, internal stakeholders, and creative partners to ensure consistent messaging and timely support across communication channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and schedule daily or weekly content across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, and other emerging platforms.
  • Monitor social media channels for engagement; flag issues and compile monthly performance reports.
  • Research and share tips on trends, tools, and AI solutions to help improve reach and efficiency.
  • Write and proof short form copy, including social captions, email snippets, flyer headlines, internal updates, and basic web content.
  • Maintain organized photo, graphic, and template libraries, ensuring consistent naming conventions and appropriate access.
  • Assist with entry-level design and video editing projects using Canva, Adobe Express, or similar tools; coordinate with outside creatives when needed.
  • Help build and segment email lists in CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Constant Contact.
  • Input campaign data, update analytics dashboards, and prepare basic reports and summaries for leadership review.
  • Maintain editorial, email, and event calendars to support team planning and coordination.
  • Respond to marketing-related requests from hospital teams and physician liaisons, including materials and event support.
  • Participate in occasional site visits or virtual meetings to collect stories, photos, or updates for marketing use.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting digital, social media, and content marketing efforts.
  • Ability to draft and schedule content across multiple social media platforms.
  • Familiarity with monitoring social media engagement and compiling performance reports.
  • Basic skills in writing and proofreading short form copy for various channels.
  • Experience maintaining organized digital libraries of photos, graphics, and templates.
