About the Role

AARP Services, Inc., founded in 1999, is a wholly-owned taxable subsidiary of AARP. It manages provider relationships and performs quality control oversight of products and services that carry the AARP name, including health, financial, travel, leisure, and life event services. The company engages in new product development and provides consulting services. The Marketing Operations Associate supports the Marketing and Research teams in executing B2B marketing initiatives for AARP Media Advertising Network's products, programs, and services. This is a remote position with quarterly travel to New York City.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supports multi-channel marketing plans on behalf of clients.
  • Measures and analyzes campaign, program, or product results to determine ROI for clients or internal purposes.
  • Collects, organizes, and distributes internal content and tools.
  • Maintains a variety of project management and communications tools for sales and marketing.
  • Coordinates creative services production schedules, vendors, and workflows in accordance with department objectives.
  • Works with external vendors to maintain sales compensation list and internal content warehouse.
  • Provides administrative and special project support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or minor in Communications, Marketing, or Advertising with at least 1 year of relevant professional experience.
  • Highly organized self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality work with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and apply AI tools and other technical systems.
  • Creative and solutions-oriented thinker with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Regular and reliable job attendance.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a home office environment surrounded by moderate noise.
  • Ability to work within a hybrid work environment, with remote work only within the United States and its territories.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with the advertising and media industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret numerical data and work with data tables.
  • Interest and/or experience in marketing communications.

Qualifications

  • Experience with marketing, communications, or advertising preferred.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technical tools and systems.
