Marketing Associate

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Create and schedule engaging content across social media platforms to promote the brand and support company initiatives.
• Assist in planning and coordinating participation in tradeshows and sponsorship opportunities.
• Manage apartment association relationships and registrations based on sales team collaboration.
• Handle event logistics including registration, shipping booths and marketing materials, and collaborating with the sales team to ensure they have the collateral and swag needed.
• Maintain a robust calendar of upcoming events and deadlines.
• Write and develop marketing materials such as blog posts, social media captions, flyers, and email copy.
• Assist the marketing manager with creative ideation for new campaigns and storytelling initiatives.
• Assist in recording and editing videos, including client testimonials, using simple video editing software.
• Work with the billing department to track event and sponsorship billing and payments, and other marketing budget items.
• Support the sales team with customized marketing assets as needed.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Meet, etc.).
• Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva) and social media platforms.
• Must be able to work from our Los Angeles office at least 3 days per week.

Nice to Have

• Experience or familiarity with the multifamily industry is a plus, but not required.

• Entry level marketing experience or interest in launching a marketing career.
