About the Role

TeraFlex manufactures components for the Jeep Wrangler including premium suspension systems and performance shocks, heavy-duty axles and low-range gearing, body armor, and more. With roots dating back to the 1950s as MEPCO, a distributor of Jeep parts and accessories, TeraFlex began manufacturing parts in-house in 1996 to meet the demand for heavy-duty off-road suspension equipment. The company has established a strong presence in the Jeep market through its experience and innovative product line. The role of Marketing Brand Manager involves leading the development and execution of marketing strategies for TeraFlex Suspensions and Falcon Shocks, focusing on brand growth, market positioning, and consistency across channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a brand strategy that drives awareness, engagement, and revenue growth through D2C and 2-Step Distribution channels.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer insights, and opportunities to grow brand visibility and market share.
  • Define the brand's positioning, value proposition, and messaging that resonates with target audiences across different channels.
  • Create and execute integrated marketing plans spanning digital, print, events, and social media to build brand loyalty and expand the customer base.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, sales, and digital marketing to align on brand objectives and ensure consistent messaging.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality digital content such as social media posts, blogs, videos, email marketing, and website content.
  • Manage the relationship between direct and indirect sales channels to ensure brand consistency and avoid channel conflict.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key brand metrics, adjusting strategies based on performance data and market insights.
  • Manage a small team of direct reports, providing coaching, performance management, and leadership within the department.
  • Coordinate with internal and external creative resources to ensure quality and timely deliverables.
  • Partner with Engineering, Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Distribution to meet KPIs.
  • Act as the brand champion, advocating for consistency and authenticity in all customer interactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or related field, with a focus on D2C and/or 2-step distribution.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing brand strategies and marketing plans that drive growth.
  • Strong understanding of the D2C business model and experience working with 2-step distribution.
  • Experience managing a brand across multiple channels, ensuring consistency while tailoring strategies for different audiences.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing external creative agencies.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, content strategy, and performance analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Creative problem-solving mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
