The role of the Marketing Business Partner, Extended Care, is to build a better connection between Marketing and Sales teams, providing marketing consultation to Sales Leaders, and developing customer-centric marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary point of contact between the Extended Care Sales team and the Marketing team.
  • Be a strategic partner, providing customer-centric consulting and leading planning to develop an annual marketing plan and quarterly initiatives aligned to overall and segment-specific goals.
  • Develop and own the segment level industry engagement strategy, representing field insights, sales priorities, and needs during strategic alignment discussions.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify trends and understand competitive positioning in the Extended Care space.
  • Monitor business performance and develop action plans to address opportunities or shifts in strategy; communicate changes to internal marketing team.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Sales and PSSP to drive the business and ensure alignment with marketing strategy.
  • Improve effectiveness and ROI of marketing investments through optimization in partnership with the marketing team.
  • Identify opportunities to innovate and differentiate the value proposition, including new products and value-added services.
  • Support customization of marketing materials to increase relevancy for target audiences, including sub-segments.
  • Regularly report to the internal marketing team to drive business alignment.
  • Represent the marketing department or collaborate with SMEs to support marketing strategies for the Extended Care segment.
  • Support the development of executive presentations and RFPs to win new business and strengthen relationships with existing customers.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent with typically 7+ years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, product management, or brand management.
  • Critical skills include the ability to engage and influence across the organization, excellent oral, written, and presentation skills, and experience working with senior executives and sales teams.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving, analytical skills, leadership, and effective communication with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven success in establishing, developing, and maintaining business relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles and utilizing market research insights to inform strategies.
  • Creativity, innovation, attention to detail, and high standards.
  • Self-starter mentality with proactive idea generation and effort driving.
  • Experience with the Extended Care market is a plus.
  • Sales enablement experience is a plus.
  • A 4-year degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.

  • Pay range of $101,000 - $168,300, aligned with performance, experience, skills, and market factors.
