About the Role

The Marketing Coach at Farm Bureau Financial Services supports the marketing activities of agents by providing training, troubleshooting, and guidance on marketing systems and tools. The role involves helping agents drive customer acquisition, cross-sell, and retention strategies, while building relationships with agents, marketing peers, and field leadership to achieve company goals. Key Responsibilities

  • Support the marketing activities of agents, including providing training and troubleshooting on marketing systems and tools such as CRM, Marketing Toolkit, social media, and agent websites.
  • Provide ideas, guidance, and support for local marketing activities and educate agents on best practices and guidelines.
  • Help agents drive new customer acquisition, cross-sell existing clients, and develop strategies to enhance client retention.
  • Conduct monthly coaching calls and respond to ad-hoc requests to assist agents and their staff with planning marketing activities and answering questions about marketing programs and systems.
  • Build and maintain relationships with assigned agents, marketing peers, and field leadership to support agency goals.
  • Work with agents to establish marketing goals, evaluate results, and make personalized recommendations for their local market.
  • Serve as a marketing resource by providing feedback and ideas to Marketing Services leadership on programs, initiatives, and agent needs.
  • Present and train on marketing topics and systems at the agency and state level.

Requirements

  • Have a college degree or equivalent plus at least one year of relevant experience, preferably in marketing, sales, or the insurance industry.
  • Be organized and able to multitask effectively to support approximately 80 agents.
  • Be a quick learner and tech-savvy to quickly adapt to various marketing programs, tools, and systems.
  • Possess good communication, relationship-building, and coaching skills to work effectively with agents and field leadership.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in marketing, sales, or the insurance industry.

Qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent.
  • At least one year of relevant experience.
