About the Role

The Marketing Content Consultant role is based in Columbus, OH, and is focused on managing and maintaining content within the financial services industry. The position involves ensuring content integrity, compliance, and alignment with consumer trends, supporting the marketing team in content library management and process improvement. This is a hybrid, full-time, temporary role reporting to the Director of Marketing, with an emphasis on process management and content oversight.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate annual compliance reviews for each financial piece in a content library, including timely copy edits or assessment of whether to keep the content active for external use.
Implement processes to streamline or consolidate content.
Monitor and maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal standards.
Ensure content aligns with current consumer trends and regulatory changes.
Collaborate with partners to gain approval for use at external broker/dealer firms.
Proactively review and address process roadblocks to ensure content remains actively available for use by external financial professionals.
Provide input on improving content management strategies and processes.
Utilize AI tools and insights to enhance content effectiveness and engagement.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in marketing, Finance, Communications, or a related field.
Proven experience in content management within the financial services sector.
Strong project management skills with a focus on process improvement.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Must have skills/attributes in Banking/Financial, Communications, and Marketing.
Experience desired in marketing or financial background (5 years) and retirement and financial services experience (5 years).

Nice to Have

Knowledge of retirement planning (RP) and related consumer trends.
Familiarity with AI tools and their application in content strategies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in marketing, Finance, Communications, or a related field.
