About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and creative Marketing Coordinator to support the planning and execution of marketing initiatives with a strong focus on social media content creation, campus events, and student engagement & education. This role is ideal for an organized, energetic someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and has a passion for connecting with student audiences through both digital and in-person experiences. The Marketing Coordinator uses the 4 P's of Marketing and is responsible for the implementation and execution of marketing programs which support profitable base business growth, consumer satisfaction and client retention within a single account. The Marketing Coordinator helps to support all critical business initiatives including pricing, meal plan sales, overall sales growth and consumer engagement for their account and Aramark Collegiate Hospitality at Towson University. This role plays a key part in planning, promoting, and executing events that enhance brand awareness, student engagement, and profit growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing a variety of in-person marketing events, including tabling, pop-ups, themed meals, giveaways, and large-scale campus events.
  • Act as the on-site lead for events, engaging students and ensuring a smooth, positive experience.
  • Develop and manage social media content (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) aligned with student culture, brand standards, and dining initiatives; monitor trends and respond to audience interactions & DMs.
  • Promote events and campaigns using digital and print channels such as social media, email, posters, and digital screens.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and partners to align messaging, source content, and support brand and campaign goals.
  • Track and analyze content and campaign performance to optimize future strategy and report results.
  • Support the recruitment, training, and oversight of student brand ambassadors, interns, or student workers.
  • Participate in weekly marketing meetings and contribute to creative planning, content brainstorming, and project execution.
  • Implement base business growth strategies to support sales, pricing accuracy, and voluntary meal plan participation.
  • Ensure national brand programs, promotions, and sales initiatives are effectively executed across campus dining locations as well as brand standards consistently upheld at all identified points of service.
  • Identify and recommend new innovations, technologies, or services that support engagement, sales growth, and client satisfaction.
  • Collect feedback from students and customers to evaluate program success and inform future improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, social media, events, or student-focused roles.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of social media platforms and content trends, especially those relevant to Gen Z audiences.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and organization skills.
  • Comfortable being on campus, interacting with students, and working occasional evenings or weekends for events.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and platforms.
  • Photography, video editing, or short-form video production skills a plus.

Qualifications
