About the Role

The Marketing Data Specialist at Security National Bank is responsible for optimizing the use of the bank's customer relationship management (CRM) system and marketing tools. The role involves maintaining accurate customer data, supporting digital marketing initiatives, and contributing to projects that enhance online presence and customer engagement. The position emphasizes a combination of problem-solving, creativity, and attention to detail to strengthen marketing efforts and connect meaningfully with customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regularly update and maintain customer records, contacts, and leads in software to ensure accuracy and usability across teams.
  • Create, schedule, and analyze targeted email campaigns to nurture leads and engage customers.
  • Qualify incoming leads, assign them to sales teams, manage deal boards, and track progress through the sales funnel.
  • Generate and share performance reports on campaigns, lead conversions, and ROI, including CD renewals, eStatement campaigns, savings growth, and other key initiatives.
  • Build and manage automated workflows for lead nurturing and follow-ups, collaborating with internal teams on content and social integration.
  • Train new system users on tools and best practices and provide ongoing support to optimize platform usage.
  • Help create and maintain a comprehensive Data Dictionary to ensure consistency across departments.
  • Explore and implement new system capabilities such as text messaging, live chat, and calendar integration to enhance customer engagement.
  • Support digital marketing efforts, including website updates, search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), GEO search strategies, and paid advertising campaigns.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organization, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork across departments.
  • Problem-solving mindset, curiosity to learn new tools and processes, and creativity in turning data into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Ability to adapt and embrace new technology to support marketing and CRM initiatives.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with a customer relationship management platform.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and channels, including email marketing, SEO/SEM, and paid advertising.
  • Understanding of workflow automation and lead management processes.
  • Knowledge of reporting and analytics tools.
  • Experience in website content management and optimization.
  • Background in financial services or related industry.
