Marketing Hospice Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Market hospice services within an assigned geographic area to physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living facilities to develop and nurture referral relationships.
• Utilize marketing collaterals to maintain a presence in facilities and provide brochures and information for dissemination to potential referral sources.
• Conduct Lunch and Learn events to inform and educate clients and customers about hospice, its services, mission, and vision, in coordination with the Education Department.
• Attend networking and medical professional meetings to represent hospice and build professional relationships.
• Educate physicians, facilities, families, and patients regarding hospice services, hospice criteria, Medicare benefits, and foster positive relationships.
• Meet with family members of potential hospice patients, provide consent forms, and assist in obtaining signatures when patients are admitted to hospice services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, healthcare, or related field, or four years of equivalent experience.
• Three years of related experience.
• Maintain a current, valid Driver's License in good standing with a safe driving record and a reliable vehicle.
• Maintain valid personal automobile insurance.
