Key Responsibilities

  • Execute Grab & Go Innovation Pipeline and build future pipeline based on evolving market needs.
  • Serve as the key interface between internal teams (R&D, PD, Manufacturing Services, QA, Commercialization, and Finance) to develop a scalable portfolio of product solutions that profitably grow the Grab & Go portfolio.
  • Manage the Innovation to Launch (i2L) process across Grab & Go projects.
  • Partner with PD & TAG teams to manage prioritization, pipeline, and results at acquisition targets using screening and scope of work briefing tools.
  • Interact with Commercial Development, Sales, and Insights to understand business needs and propose new product solutions.
  • Manage the end-to-end new product development process internally with speed and urgency to deliver quality products on time.
  • Work with cross-functional teams on developing NPS bakery & handheld platforms in line with business plans.
  • Utilize strategic and communication skills to assemble and motivate cross-functional teams including marketing, PD, R&D, sales, finance, and supply chain for product innovation and go-to-market plans.
  • Collaborate across the marketing team to drive innovation strategy leveraging operator and consumer insights, stakeholder inputs, and market dynamics.
  • Develop a deep understanding of demographics, psychographics, occasions, purchase pathways, and behavioral drivers of operators and consumers to prioritize growth opportunities.
  • Keep teams informed on project status and progress through clear communication.
  • Uphold Nestlé Professional Solutions and industry standards for professionalism.
  • Share best practices with peer networks and maintain current project activities in tracking tools like I2L.
  • Reconcile T&E budgets in compliance with Nestlé USA standards.

Requirements

  • Typically holds a University Degree (BA/BS) in Marketing, Food Science, or related business field, or equivalent experience.
  • Post-graduate degree strongly preferred.
  • Basic financial acumen and understanding of risk/return calculations on business decisions.
  • Up to 25% travel required.
  • At least 5+ years of experience leading the development of new or existing products or strategies from conception to implementation.
  • Foodservice or CPG experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional teams to achieve brand and business goals.
  • P&L experience and strong planning skills.
  • Entrepreneurial qualities such as bias for action, ownership, willingness to take risks, and urgency.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects on short timelines.
  • Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and deliver results.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Creativity in problem-solving and process improvements.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities.
  • Strong decision-making and analytical skills leveraging quantitative and qualitative data.

  • Experience in foodservice or CPG industries.
  • Post-graduate degree.
