About the Role

The Experiential Marketing Manager is a highly collaborative, business-savvy, innovative professional responsible for creating and executing marketing programs that demonstrate Gartner's value proposition to prospects. This role supports the Global Marketing team within GSSO, focusing on driving revenue growth and enabling sales success through experiential engagement programs, both virtual and in-person, across regions such as Europe. The position involves partnering with sales and marketing teams to deliver impactful experiences that convert prospects into clients and measure program success to continuously improve the prospect experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as regional lead for program strategy and execution of core Experiential Marketing prospect engagement programs, both virtual and in-person, designed to showcase Gartner's value to highly qualified prospects.
  • Work closely with regional Sales Operations and Sales leadership to enable the Sales organization to maximize their success with Experiential Marketing programs.
  • Act as main point of contact for the salesforce within select regions (e.g., Europe).
  • Ensure that requests for participation in marketing programs meet the qualification criteria and set clear expectations for these qualification requirements with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Act as center of excellence by adapting program strategy to regional needs, leading Sales training, developing communications, and supporting best practice execution.
  • Collaborate with other regional Experiential Marketing program leads to ensure consistent execution and sharing of best practices globally.
  • Partner with peers in Integrated and Digital Marketing teams to create seamless pre-event marketing campaigns, onsite experiences, and post-event communications.
  • Execute programs for a portfolio of events/experiences throughout the year, managing programs according to global playbooks and acting as the main regional contact.
  • Responsible for measurement and success of programs, including reporting, analysis, and interpretation of trends, and continuously innovating to improve the prospect experience.
  • Coordinate stakeholder needs and ensure optimal utilization of Gartner resources such as Analysts, budget, and locations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders including Sales leadership, Research & Advisory, Service Delivery, Conferences, and others to achieve goals.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of business, project management, and/or marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and a track record of meeting targets and objectives.
  • Experience partnering with, coaching, supporting, and enabling Sales organizations.
  • Experience executing multiple highly complex and/or strategic programs and activities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and design appropriate solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, including tailoring messages to different audiences.
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills across multiple levels.
  • Strong problem solving, strategic and critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Event planning and organization skills.
  • Limited travel required (10-15%).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with global marketing programs and regional adaptation.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and pre/post-event campaign integration.
  • Experience working with sales enablement and training.
