The Retail Wireless team, serving Boost Mobile and Gen Mobile, is focused on redefining consumer expectations through innovative platforms, new business models, and a disruptive approach in the market. The role of the Marketing Manager I involves overseeing local store and national retail marketing strategies to drive customer engagement, foot traffic, and sales across various retail channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute hyper-local marketing strategies to increase foot traffic to Boost Mobile stores using digital, traditional, and community-based tactics.
  • Align marketing touchpoints across digital platforms (Google, Meta, DSPs), in-store experiences, and regional activations to ensure a cohesive customer journey.
  • Plan and manage store openings, renovations, and community-driven events such as holiday promotions and give-back initiatives to strengthen brand loyalty.
  • Develop localized messaging plans tailored to regional audiences to ensure relevance and engagement.
  • Identify and implement emerging technologies and tools that enhance customer engagement and optimize media investments.
  • Analyze foot traffic, customer conversion rates, store locator engagement, and marketing ROI to refine local marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with franchisees, dealer locations, and DDP doors to provide tailored marketing support and ensure execution consistency.
  • Partner with internal teams to define and execute go-to-market strategies for new products, promotions, and initiatives.
  • Oversee budgets for local and national retail campaigns, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive movements, and regional customer preferences to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Lead the strategic vision for Boost Mobile’s National Retail marketing efforts across partners like Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and Dollar General, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage the National Retail Marketing Lead, providing strategic direction and oversight for initiatives that drive sales, brand awareness, and conversions.
  • Work with major retail partners to align marketing initiatives with their promotional calendars, in-store merchandising, and digital advertising efforts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing strategy, retail marketing, or go-to-market planning.
  • Proven expertise in local media planning and execution across digital and traditional channels.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and apply insights to strategy.
  • Experience managing budgets, allocating marketing spend, and tracking performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience managing and mentoring direct reports.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and programmatic ad platforms.
  • Retail or Telecommunications experience is a strong plus.
