About the Role

Our client is a leading accounting and tax software provider with an opening for a Marketing Manager II for a long-term contract engagement. The role offers the opportunity to work fully remote, with a requirement to work PST hours. The position involves managing marketing activities and programs, developing marketing plans aligned with business objectives, and overseeing various campaigns and stakeholder relationships. The team currently focuses on retention for Money products, working with VIPs and managing multiple campaigns simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages the marketing activities and programs for the organization.
  • Develops and implements marketing plans to serve the business objectives.
  • Stays abreast of changes in the marketing environment and coordinates market research projects.
  • Selects and manages ongoing relationships with different marketing vendors.
  • May oversee advertising, events, and public relations.
  • Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
  • Ensures that project/department milestones and goals are met and budgets are adhered to.
  • Has full authority for personnel actions.
  • Extensive knowledge of department processes.
  • Acts as the retention team lead for Money products, working with VIPs.
  • Works on 4-5 campaigns at a time.
  • Executes lifecycle marketing programs from start to finish.
  • Identifies key customer insights and data to construct effective strategies.
  • Assesses and develops strategies to improve customer lifecycle engagement and retention.
  • Plans and manages end-to-end multi-channel marketing campaigns including email, direct mail, push, SMS, and in-product discovery.
  • Evaluates and sizes the impact of business problems and strategies.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver a positive customer experience.
  • Owns deliverables, deadlines, and measurement of campaigns in digital marketing tools.
  • Builds and ensures on-time program schedules from kickoff to results tracking.
  • Sets up, tests, and QA's email campaigns.
  • Performs and analyzes A/B split testing with analysts.
  • Develops program/creative briefs and manages creative development.
  • Communicates project timelines and manages stakeholder expectations.

Requirements

  • End-to-end marketing management experience.
  • Experience with project intake, campaign design, and execution.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of testing, QA, and campaign data analysis.
  • Ability to identify key customer insights and develop effective strategies.
  • Experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns including email, direct mail, push, SMS, and in-product discovery.
  • Ability to evaluate and size the impact of strategies and business problems.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams such as product managers, data analysts, creative teams, and deployment agencies.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and campaign measurement.
  • Experience in building and managing detailed program schedules.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI tools for generating and enhancing job descriptions.
  • Experience managing campaigns for financial or payment products.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in marketing management and campaign execution.
