Job Description

About the Role

The Search Marketing organization at Amazon is responsible for driving website traffic, maximizing channel revenue, and improving customer experience through managing Earned (SEO) and Paid Search channels on external search engines. The team works with internal stakeholders across all levels worldwide and focuses on programmatically improving ROI and growing the Amazon business. The role involves leading paid search channel marketing, developing strategies, and leveraging analytical and creative skills in a fast-growing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop deep search channel insights and understanding in partnership with retail teams, other marketing channel teams, and international stakeholders
  • Translate channel insights into test plans, product/feature proposals, and opportunities for optimization
  • Define and run tests, including A/B experiments to test new vendor features and inform new product development
  • Conduct in-depth analyses to refine understanding of the search space and uncover optimization opportunities
  • Translate analytical findings into actionable insights and concise business actions and recommendations

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables)
  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Math/Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or a similar field
  • Excellent business judgment and the ability to think strategically and execute methodically
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills with a passion and aptitude for analysis and related tools
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively across business and international teams
  • Interest in the technical aspects of digital marketing
  • Strong bias for action and sense of urgency

Nice to Have

  • Experience using SQL or other analytical tools for data analysis
  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
  • Background in analytical positions or consulting

Qualifications

  • Degree in a relevant field such as Business, Marketing, Math/Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science
