The Marketing Operations team at Mixpanel partners closely with Marketing Leadership to develop core processes, execute campaign operations, tooling, automation, and reporting to run the Marketing team. We build and optimize operational processes, facilitate decision-making, and drive efficiency in marketing execution to support growth objectives. As a Marketing Operations Manager, you will execute key marketing operations including campaign management, reporting, attribution, ROI analysis, and audience management at scale, requiring analytical expertise, strategic thinking, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize marketing automation workflows using Hightouch to sync customer data across systems and deliver targeted campaigns.
  • Develop and implement automated outbound campaigns tied to intent signals and lifecycle marketing programs such as onboarding, re-engagement, upsell, and churn prevention.
  • Ensure high-quality audience segmentation and targeting by integrating Hightouch with Salesforce, marketing automation tools, and sales automation tools.
  • Design and maintain scalable data pipelines to automate the flow of customer and marketing data between Hightouch, CRM, marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Own marketing contribution forecasting, pipeline modeling, and goal-setting to align with revenue objectives.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs, track conversion rates, and provide recommendations to optimize performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement in marketing workflows, reporting cadences, and governance processes to ensure data-driven decision-making.
  • Leverage and optimize tools such as Salesforce, marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools to improve reporting and data integrity.
  • Support company-wide strategic initiatives by providing insights and executing operational improvements to enhance marketing impact.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in marketing operations within a high-growth B2B, SaaS, or tech environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Customer.io), and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
  • Experience with Hightouch or Census is required.
  • Experience partnering with demand generation teams on performance marketing (paid social, paid search) and SEO/AIO campaigns, including audience creation, automation setup, campaign tagging, tracking, attribution, and performance governance.
  • Experience in SQL and data manipulation for deeper analysis.
  • Expertise in marketing analytics, attribution modeling, campaign tracking, and funnel metrics such as CAC, LTV, and ROI.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives within deadlines.
  • High attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a passion for data-driven business impact.

  • Experience working with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) tools and tactics.
