About the Role

The Marketing Operations Manager III will serve as a key partner for the Ecosystem & Lifecycle Marketing Team, owning the implementation of customer lifecycle campaigns through strong technical use of Marketo. The role involves supporting business and technical goals, driving campaign outcomes, evaluating new technologies, and ensuring best practices in marketing automation within a dynamic organization based in Mountain View, CA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a partner for the Ecosystem & Lifecycle Marketing Team owning the implementation of customer lifecycle campaigns through strong technical use of Marketo.
  • Understand business and technical goals and support requests coming from the Ecosystem & Lifecycle Marketing Team.
  • Drive desired outcomes through efficient campaign implementation.
  • Complete requests with high accuracy and meet deadlines.
  • Adhere to and champion data governance guidelines and campaign best practices.
  • Provide post-launch support, including monitoring campaign performance and delivering final documentation.
  • Evaluate, implement, and maintain new technologies including add-on apps to improve campaign optimization.
  • Be open to learning new marketing automation tools.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in building complex customer lifecycle automations in Marketo.
  • A high level of technical and analytical competence.
  • Experience leading significant projects demonstrating results in campaign orchestration, optimization, personalization, targeting, data standardization, and process standardization.
  • Hands-on experience with Custom Objects, dynamic and shared content through email scripting (Velocity Script) in Marketo.
  • Natural problem-solving skills, with high intellectual curiosity and focus.
  • Deep understanding of how campaign components interconnect.
  • Ability to troubleshoot quickly and find root causes of problems.
  • Ability to work on multiple complex projects, meet deadlines, and deliver accurately.
  • Ability to articulate and educate team members on campaign best practices and advanced marketing automation know-how.
  • Experience in process optimization.
  • Deep understanding of campaign engagement data to provide insights and data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Relevant education, certifications, or experience in marketing automation and campaign management.
