Marketing Operations Manager PMO

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and continuously improve the PMO strategy, ensuring alignment with the organization's overall objectives.
• Establish and maintain standardized process and tools across the Customer Office.
• Oversee the project portfolio, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of projects managing prioritization and governance, balancing business needs, resources, and risk.
• Lead the successful execution of large, complex projects, ensuring they meet scope, time, cost, and quality targets.
• Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, identifying and mitigating project risks and issues.
• Collaborate with key members to manage expectations and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with executives, department heads, and external partners.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on project status, risks, and outcomes.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project and PMO success.
• Monitor project performance against metrics, adjusting strategies and resources as needed.
• Generate and present reports for senior leadership, highlighting trends, lessons learned, and areas for improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement in project management processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Promote the use of project management software and tools to streamline processes and enhance productivity.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in project and portfolio management, with at least 3-5 years in a management role.
• Proven success in managing large-scale, complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.
• Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and tools (Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet).
• Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience with budgeting, financial oversight, and risk management practices.
• Ability to influence partners across all levels, including senior leadership.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of marketing or campaign management is a plus.
