Marketing Pursuit Strategist & Proposal Consultant

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the proposal development process from start to finish by developing and writing persuasive messages based on research profiles, meetings with client service professionals, and knowledge of the firm's offerings.
• Serve as the central point of contact and project manager for assigned proposals, managing multiple proposals and pursuit deliverables while collaborating with various teams to ensure on-time, high-quality completion.
• Lead the presentation preparation process by helping client service professionals develop talking points and deliverables, and effectively lead and coach internal dry runs.
• Work with the proposal content team leader to maintain updated content, serve as a resource for pursuit consultants, and write new material for the proposal content library.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of increasing responsibility and demonstrable business writing experience, including proposal development in a professional services or corporate environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Communications, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Word and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications is desirable.
• Availability to work in Metro Detroit, Chicago, or Denver areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• At least 3 years of business writing and proposal development experience.
