Marketing Research Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multiple departments and product lines to define and address key business questions.
• Support and manage a broad range of market research studies and initiatives aimed at enhancing client experience, inspiring marketing efforts, and assessing interest in new offerings.
• Partner with a vendor to manage an online client community, focusing on maximizing participation and ensuring a premium client experience.
• Develop actionable insights by synthesizing learnings from various research and analytical efforts.
• Present insights and recommendations effectively to business partners at all organizational levels.
• Manage multiple projects and research vendors concurrently, prioritizing tasks according to strategic business objectives while maintaining a hands-on approach to data analysis.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in market research (either from a vendor or client-side perspective).
• Demonstrated experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and statistical skills with the capacity to extract insights from complex datasets.
• Ability to develop detailed, tactical project plans and execute them on time and within budget.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to senior management.
• Ability to structure and execute complex research efforts from initiation to completion.
• Skilled in managing research vendors, including relationship oversight, fostering collaboration, and budget management.
• Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing them within strategic business priorities.
• Experience overseeing online communities managed by external vendors.

• Experience in designing and managing User Experience (UX) studies.
• Familiarity with implementing AI tools in research.
• Experience within mission-driven or social impact organizations.
• Background in financial services.
• Experience with an investment firm.
