Senior Market Data Analyst

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Define, collect, and manage the Market Analysis team's data resources.
• Establish business processes for identifying and acquiring new data sources.
• Analyze organizational billing, sales orders, assets, and system usage data.
• Develop overviews of the library market, including total addressable market (TAM) analyses.
• Maintain accurate contact data at customer accounts.
• Create targeted marketing and sales contact lists to support successful campaigns.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on library market data and OCLC customer/member data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, with an emphasis in accounting, business administration, or business data analytics. MBA preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of statistics, finance, sales, marketing, general business, and information systems.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as an analyst or in a market data analysis role, with demonstrated ability to perform the duties described.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, including the ability to develop a thorough understanding of business data, the sales process, and customer accounts.
• Significant experience using and thorough knowledge of software & hardware productivity tools, including spreadsheets, databases, and word processing.
• Advanced knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using Business Objects, Salesforce, NetSuite, and PowerBI preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
