About the Role

Performance Foodservice, PFG's broadline distributor, maintains a unique relationship with a variety of local customers, including independent restaurants and hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries. A team of sales reps, chefs, consultants, and other experts builds close relationships with customers - providing advice on improving operations, menu development, product selection, and operational strategies. The Performance team delivers delicious food but also goes above and beyond to help independent restaurant owners achieve their dreams. The role of the Marketing Specialist involves planning, directing, communicating, and coordinating corporate marketing programs to enhance the company's value proposition and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Assists with developing and executing short and long range marketing plans and programs to ensure the profit growth and adding value to stakeholder relationships.
Assists with establishing marketing goals to support organizational strategic plans and visions.
Reviews market analysis to determine business and market opportunities for key stakeholders and ensure supportive organizational growth and development.
Prepares marketing and marketing activity reports.
Plans and coordinates the organization's advertising and promotion activities including, but not limited to: print, electronic, and direct mail.
Communicates with outside advertising, marketing, and public relations agencies on ongoing projects and campaigns.
