About the Role

OpenLoop is seeking a talented Marketing Specialist, Demand Generation who will lead our customer activation marketing efforts. This position will focus on developing and executing activation strategies that will promote and strengthen customer brands, ultimately driving sales and revenue generation. The role involves working in a hybrid environment with 3 days onsite at the Des Moines office and some travel, supporting the company's mission to bring healing anywhere through tele-health support solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create awareness, generate interest, and drive qualified leads to support sales and revenue growth through various marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Attend weekly customer feedback meetings to listen to customer goals and challenges and ideate ways to help them grow.
  • Use customer data and feedback to produce effective strategies that provide a personalized customer experience.
  • Provide a diverse 'arsenal' of brand activation ideas and activities, such as live events, digital interactions, direct mail/print, onsite activations, and influencer partnerships.
  • Project manage the execution of customer activation programs and guide internal teams and external agencies to meet deadlines.
  • Execute experiments with beta customers, analyze results, and scale successful initiatives quickly.
  • Manage 'white glove' referral programs at on-site employee activation events.
  • Be available for approximately 30% travel (about 3 days every 2 weeks).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of demand generation marketing experience, with D2C experience considered a plus.
  • A data-driven marketing mindset with understanding of key metrics such as CAC, LTV, and payback periods.
  • Experience managing complex, collaborative projects like website design or launching ABM campaigns.
  • Exceptional communication skills and confidence in representing the brand to customers.
  • Strong organizational skills with a sense of urgency and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively create pathways for success.
  • Strong follow-through and goal delivery skills, with the ability to build trust with key customers.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a startup or fast-growing organization.
  • Experience with high volume, transactional D2C companies.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry and related marketing strategies.
