About the Role

Please note this is a hybrid role in Cupertino or Culver City, CA. You must be able to work 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and 2 days remote (Monday and Friday). Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize engagement/retention strategies that resonate with a diverse customer base.
  • Conduct A/B testing, analyze results, and translate data-driven insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Lead the design and implementation of complex customer journeys, leveraging signals, in-app placements, and cross-functional orchestration.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with international marketing, product, engineering, analytics, and design teams to achieve shared objectives.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, incorporating feedback and analysis into ongoing plans.
  • Define compelling narratives, value propositions, and educational messaging tailored to specific geographic regions.

Requirements

  • Analytical mindset with a proven track record of developing and optimizing marketing strategies that drive customer engagement and retention.
  • Technical proficiency to lead the development of complex customer journeys involving signals, in-app placements, and cross-functional orchestration.
  • Deep understanding of cross-functional collaboration, integrating product, design, business, marketing, engineering, and stakeholder teams.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills, fostering strong working partnerships.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing complex, international, large-scale, time-critical projects.
  • Strong project management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Deep understanding of A/B testing and data-driven optimization marketing.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines, build consensus, and balance multiple projects and priorities.
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, articulating complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, demonstrating success in achieving growth goals in user engagement and retention.
  • Experience leading lifecycle marketing programs, preferably for a media platform or consumer subscription business.
  • Experience testing and optimizing marketing channels, including push notifications, online, email, and in-app messaging tactics.
  • BA/BS degree; MS/MA/MBA preferred.
